Frozen Mock Meat

Vegetarian and vegan mock meats are now available at Burwood Highway Asian Grocery. Also known as alternative meat or meat analogue, Mock Meats is made using vegetarian ingredients like Soy protein and Taro.  Here is a short article describing how mock meats are made.

Some guide to preparation:

Frozen mock meat needs to be defrosted if used for stir-fry dishes. If cooking stew, curry, or deep-frying, no defrosting is needed. Then just treat frozen/defrosted vegetarian meat like any other meat cutlets.
