Immigrants from China’s Hainan Island brought this dish with them while seeking a living in Singapore during colonial days. It become an immensely popular dish, and has today evolved into an iconic dish of Singapore. This dish is traditionally served with fragrant chicken-flavoured rice and a medley of sauces – chili, ginger and dark soya sauce.

Hainanese chicken rice fragrance oil – Chicken Oil, Vegetable Oil, Shallot, Ginger, Garlic, Salt, Lemon Grass, Flavour Enhancer (Monosodium Glutamate), Galangal, Pandan Leaf, Water, Sugar, Flavour, Stabiliser (xanthan gum).

Sesame Soya Sauce Oil – Soya Sauce, Wheat Flour, Salt, Water, Sugar,Colour (caramel III), Water, Sesame Oil, Sugar, Yeast Extract

Chili Sauce – Chili, Water, Shallot, Ginger, Garlic, Lime Juice, Imitation vinegar, Sugar, Salt, Yeast Extract, Acidity Regulator.
